Registry Recovery Message (One Of The Files Containing The System's Registry Data Had To Be Recovered.)

The registry recovery information message, generally appear on during system startup. The message is

"One of the files containing the system's registry data had to be recovered by use of log or alternate copy. The recovery was successful."

A corrupted "NTUSER.DAT" file is responsible for this message. This is the file which store all kind of registry settings for their respective user account. For your information, during an user account creation, one NTUSER.DAT file also create for that user account.

So, to fix this issue you have to repair your corrupted NTUSER.DAT file. There is an one easy way to perform this task by replacing that file with another user's NTUSER.DAT file.Generally, this is a system file and that's why, it is hide by default. Also to work with this file, you have to have administrative privileges.

First of all, show your hidden file (select the "Show hidden files, folder" option from "view" tab under "Folder Option"). Now, navigate to the "C" Drive, then "Users" folder". Here, you will get the list of all user account, that is exits on your computer.

Suppose you have two users. One user name is "X" and another user name is "Y". In that case, you will get two folder into "Users" folder. One folder for user "X" and another folder for user "Y" (Folder name will be the same by their respective user account). Some data is automatically create during user creation. They are

Those data will be the same for both users (X,Y). Here you will get NTUSER.DAT file. Let's imagine, user "X" is getting this message during windows login. Mean, NTUSER.DAT file have corrupted for user "X". To solve this issue, you just replace that corrupted NTUSER.DAT file with "Y" user's NTUSER.DAT file. Hope, that message will not be shown anymore.

Thank You.
