In this tutorial, we are going to learn how to disable the "Maximum Password Lifetime" value or the "Password Expiration" feature in the VMware vCenter Server or the VMware vSphere client. We will go through the step-by-step process.

After login into the vCenter server, click on the "Menu" drop-down bar and select the "Administration" option. Now click on the "Configuration" option under the "Single Sign On" feature. Then click on the "Password Policy" option under the "Policies" tab. Now click on the "Edit" button and write the value "0" in the "Maximum Lifetime" field. Finally, click on the "Save" button to save this change and close this window.
Done. From now on, no more password expiration notifications will have appeared. The password will be saved permanently.

After login in using the vSphere client, click on the "Menu" drop-down bar and select the "Administration" option.
