Unexpected Exception While Fetching Feature Details From The Virtual Center

In this tutorial, we are going to discuss an error that we are facing while adding the vCenter server to the Horizon server. We couldn't add the vCenter server because the following error message has popped up. 

"Unexpected exception while fetching feature details from the virtual center".

While adding the vCenter server to the Horizon server, we are providing the credential information on the below page.

On that page, in the "Server address" field we are providing the vCenter server address. In the same manner, we are providing the vCenter server login user name in the "User Name" field. In this field, many of us just write the user name. We do not add any domain information with the user name.

That's the problem. We need to add domain information with our username such as Administrator@YourDomain.com. If we write only the user name that is only "administrator" then that error message will appear.

To resolve this issue, just add your domain information with the user name. Just like the below:-
