Suddenly, all the installed apps have stopped working on windows 10 or the other version of the Microsoft operating system. It shows the error message that is "This App Can't run on your PC". One screenshot is given below:-
In this tutorial, we are going to fix this issue. To work with this problem, we have to take entrance into the "Advanced Startup" settings. There are many ways to make an entry into that section. We can use a windows startup disk or we can use the "Shift" key from our keyboard during the restarting of the operating system. If we want to use the startup disk then we will boot the computer using that disk or USB. Beyond this, we have another option that is "Press and Hold down" the "Shift" key while clicking on the "Restart" button from your windows operating system.
In the same manner, we can make restart from the "Login Page" also. Just press and hold down the shift key and click on the "Restart" button.
After taking access into the "Advanced Startup" settings, we will select the "Troubleshoot" option to go further step.
At this stage, click on the "Advanced Options".
Now click on the "Command Prompt" option.
Now windows will perform some tasks for you. Please wait until the finish its job. Now it will ask for the credential. Select your username from the list.
Now enter your password.
Now "Command Prompt" window will appear in front of you. At this stage, just execute the below command.
chkdsk c: /r
Write this command and press enter. Now, wait until the process has finished.
It will scan for corrupted system files and will attempt to repair all the files. After completing the task, restart your computer.
That's it. Your problem should be solved now.
